We are now developing a laser pulse circulation system for a compact source of monochromatic hard X-ray (10-60 keV) based on Compton scattering. The energy of electron beams are about 35Mev and it is generated by a X-band linac, and collide with laser pulses from a Q-switch Nd:YAG laser system. The X-ray source with the laser pulse circulation system can theoretically generate X-rays 100 times lager than usual. In the proof of principle experiment, the laser intensity became larger than 10 times. Then, the X-ray yield will raise to at least 10^9 photons/sec.
