There will be  a two day workshop on designing a small muon cooling ring, at the Radisson Hotel City Center Tucson  at Tucson, Arizona on December 15th (Mon) and 16th (Tues), 2003.  The workshop is sponsored by UCLA.

A gas filled cyclotron type ring is a prime candidate model, which was presented in the Fermilab Emittance Exchange/Ring Cooler Workshop on August 2003.

    A block of 12 rooms was reserved for the workshop with a special rate at $69/night. Please make sure that you get the discounted rate of $69/night by mentioning UCLA Workshop.     Complementary shuttle service of the hotel is available between Tucson Airport and the hotel by calling (520)624-8711 after getting to the airport (please wait for 15 minutes for a shuttle coming from the hotel) or at  the front desk (for leaving). 

  • A Data (laptop) Projector and an OHP will be in the workshop room. Multiple channels of Internet connection will also be available in the room. Unfortunately no printer, copy machine will be available in the conference room
  • DRIVING DIRECTION:  From Tucson International Airport take Tucson Boulevard to Benson Highway.  Turn left on Park Avenue and follow to Broadway. Stay on Broadway as it curves into Congress Street.  Keep straight on Congress until you pass Church Avenue.  Radisson City Center is located on the left hand side.
