Background
I grew up in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, where I attended St. Petersburg State University, Department of Physics, and got my bachelor degree in 2000. In the same year, I came to UCLA as a Ph.D. student to continue my physics education at graduate level.

Current Research
My current research interest is to study how one dimensional nano-materials can be used for chemical and biological sensing. I am especially interested in development of accurate methods that allow real time sensing various biological molecules by carbon nanotube field effect transistors.
