His Dark Materials
Well, I was in the middle of rereading this series (well, rereading the first two, and finally reading The Amber Spyglass) when the September 11 terrorist attacks happenned, and I didn't feel like reading for a while, and even when I finished reading the books, I didn't have anything I wanted to write down, because I was still depressed. By the time I got around to writing again, more books had intervened, so I forgot whatever it was I would have said.
So, I am just making this short note to record the fact that I read the books, and liked them. Sorry this isn't very interesting.
