To get to the planetarium and telescope enter the Math Sciences building at the vending machines:
Park in parking structure 2 where Westholm enters the campus from Hilgard (fee required).
Walk to the inverted fountain.
Walk west (away from Hilgard). After a short distance the wide walkway turns into a road with a sidewalk on the left.
As the sidewalk starts down the hill, watch for an opening in the Mathematical Sciences building on your left with vending machines. The Math Science building has several white observatory domes on the roof.
Enter the opening with the vending machines; turn right and enter the building through the glass doors.
Turn left immediately and enter the elevator.
You entered on the fifth floor. Take the elevator to the eight floor.
Exit the elevator. Turn left. Turn left again, and follow the short hallway out onto the roof of the building. (You should see signs pointing the way when you exit the elevator.)
As you walk onto the roof, the planetarium dome is right in front of you. To get to the telescope, take the stairs behind you over the door to a higher level of the roof with many domes. At the top of the stairs, turn right and then left to the dome with 14".
