I am Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Los Angeles. My research is focused on theoretical particle physics, quantum gravity and string theory.
Before coming to UCLA in 2003, I was a postdoc at the theoretical particle physics groups at Stanford, Harvard and Princeton. I obtained my Ph.D at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics in Cambridge, UK, where my advisor was M.B. Green. While in Cambridge I was a member of Churchill College.
